Visitor Information

Welcome to South County Hospital. The Hospital's main entrance at 100 Kenyon Avenue is clearly marked, as is the Visitor Parking area. When you enter the main lobby, you'll find an Information Desk for your assistance.

Visiting hours
Visitors are welcome between noon-8 p.m. It is recommended that there be only two visitors with a patient at any time. For the comfort of our patients, we ask visitors to talk quietly. Any children visiting must be with an adult at all times.

For the patient's safety
At South County Hospital, our prime concern is the health and healing of our patients. Everyone plays a role in infection control, and we ask for your cooperation in promoting patient safety. Don't visit a patient if you are ill or not feeling well. Wash your hands or use our hand sanitizer before entering and when leaving a patient's room. Avoid touching anything used to care for the patient, and read and follow instructions posted outside the patient's room. Click here to watch the EMMI video on patient safety.

Services for Hospital visitors
South County Hospital provides a variety of services for visitors. The cafeteria is located on the ground floor, West Wing. The gift shop and coffee shop are on the first floor, Borda Wing. ATM services are available on the first floor, Read Wing, and in the ER Waiting Room.

E-Nursery
If you can't make it to the Hospital to visit a newborn, you can make a virtual visit through our E-Nursery.
