The Emergency Department at South County Hospital provides full-service emergency medical services to southern Rhode Island, seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Staffed by Board Certified emergency medicine physicians and a highly skilled clinical team trained in emergency medicine, the South County Hospital Emergency Department is the third busiest in Rhode Island, averaging more than 30,000 visits each year.
