Purpose
In alignment with the impact goal of the American Stroke Association, which is to reduce stroke and risk by 25% by 2010, the Get With The Guidelines-Stroke (GWTG-Stroke) program will assist health professionals in implementing the American Stroke Association’s Acute Treatment and Secondary Ischemic Stroke Prevention Guidelines.

The GWTG-Stroke workshop objective:
This seminar is designed to help hospitals and healthcare systems close the treatment gap in secondary prevention of ischemic stroke and implement continuous quality improvement of acute stroke treatment.
